About the nGMS Quality and Outcomes Working Group
Remit
The remit of the nGMS Quality and Outcomes Working Group is:
- To work with key stakeholder organisations to ensure that the quality and outcomes framework builds on and integrates with existing quality developments in Scotland.
- Make recommendations to local-level implementation groups regarding setting frameworks for local implementation
- Develop guidance and collate examples of good practice in terms of practice organisation and data collection
- Consider issues of data ownership, usage and analysis and how best the data from the quality and outcomes framework can be collated and fed back to practices, LHCCs, PCOs and NHS Boards
- Liaise with the IM&T group to ensure that appropriate IM&T arrangements are in place for payment and monitoring systems, as well as training
- Ensure good cross-linking with other implementation working groups at all stages
- Consider for the longer term, the possible uses that the service can make of quality and morbidity data
