Remit
The draft remit of the group would be to cover 3 specific areas:-
- to consider and advise on the next steps to ensure premises development at a national level meets the objectives of the contract.
- to advise of recommended changes to the 2006/09 contract period.
- to maximise links and integration with other aspects of policy, e.g., Joint Future, CHPs, H&S, Control of Infection.
The group would be required to report in Autumn 2005 and produce progress updates at regular intervals throughout.
The aim of the group would be to produce guidance to ensure the strategic requirements for GP premises over the next 5 years were addressed.
