About

Out of Hours is a key priority for the service. This group is very active, meeting monthly, receiving regular reports from across NHS Scotland, briefing SEHD, Chairs, Chief Execs regularly. Advising on service models. Leading on key work including with NES (professional competencies for OOH care), NQIS (standards for OOH services), public engagement, implications of Mental Health Act, joint working with Social Work, related to Out of Hours services. An Out of Hours Operational subgroup has been established to focus on operational issues and act as a support/information network group for staff leading the OOHs implementation locally. Information about the group's activities and meetings can be found on the OOH Operational Group home page.
