About the nGMS Out of Hours Working Group

Remit

The remit of the nGMS Out of Hours Working Group is:

• Collate experience and examples of existing good practice in order to promote solutions
• Provide a source of advice, expertise and experience to NHS Scotland
• Support a network of key stakeholders across Scotland
• Develop models of service design / delivery for a range of populations, from urban through to remote and rural. Use these models to develop guidance to the service
• Engage with and involve key stakeholders in the process (to include various representative bodies, operational stakeholders, the public and provide geographical coverage across Scotland)
• Clarify issues arising from interpretation of legislation and issue guidance where appropriate
