Following discussions at previous meetings of the nGMS OD/HR Working Group and the Scenario Planning Workshop on 19 April 2004, a Version 1 of the workplan was prepared to capture the items suggested as a priority for consideration during 2004/5. The workplan was submitted for discussion at the OD/HR meeting on 6th September 2004 to consider the content and identify any other issues to be included.

Remit

The Workforce Planning Sub-Group will seek to develop a baseline of workforce information and build on this information during the forthcoming year (2004/5). The working group is keen to identify gaps in terms of the numbers of individuals and skills/competencies in order to inform the workforce strategy for NHS Scotland
