Performance ManagementIn accordance with HDL(2005)28 Delivering the Benefits of Pay Modernisation
in NHSScotland , each NHS Board
has prepared a Benefits Realisation plan.
In order to support performance management and the Performance Assessment
Framework (PAF) a self assessment tool was developed during 2004/05 which supported the PAF developed by SEHD, and
added value to NHS Boards and individuals working in the Service.
Completion of the self assessment tool developed for GMS during 2004/05
helped inform the initial Benefits Realisation plans developed for September
2005. With some minor, appropriate amendments the tool will be completed for
the year ending March 2006.
Some of the good practice identified during 2004/05 is included in 'nGMS
Implementation Assessment Tool - Examples of Good Practice 2004/05'
