Remit

As part of the implementation of the new GMS contract to consider issues in relation to financial policy and the allocation process. In particular: -

  • To ensure that the implementation is equitable across NHS Boards
  • To ensure that the implementation addresses any transitional issues.
  • To issue guidance and advice as appropriate
  • To set out arrangements to monitor the cost of the new contract and to ensure that this is taken into account as part of the spending review.

Minutes of the meeting held and appropriate papers will be circulated to all Directors of Finance for information.
