Remit
The remit of the Calculation and Payments group was agreed at its first meeting as follows:
- Specify the requirements of the system to calculate the payments to GMS Contractors and agree this with stakeholders
- Develop a detailed plan for the delivery of the system
- Develop a detailed implementation plan for the system including such short-term measures as appropriate to ensure payment to contractors can be made from 1 April.
The group also extended its remit to review the reporting arrangements required in respect of the new contract and also to identify a chart of accounts to reflect the payments made.
